Roasted Alkalizing Lemon Cauliflower
If you are working on reducing inflammation by alkalizing your diet, we have the blend for you. While most people know that lemon is on the list of alkaline foods (meaning foods that create an alkaline metabolic ‘ash’) so it should come to no surprise that our alkalizing blend is based on traditional lemon pepper.
INGREDIENTS
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
2 tsp Alkalizing Lemon Pepper
Salt to taste
RECIPE PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 425°
Toss cauliflower and 4 Tbsp. oil on a baking sheet
Season with salt and lemon pepper
Roast, tossing occasionally, until tender and golden brown, 25–30 minutes
Pulse parsley and remaining 2 Tbsp. oil in a food processor until very finely chopped
Season with salt and pepper
Toss cauliflower with lemon-parsley mixture and top with lemon zest
